Paint 3D

If you were a fan of the good old drawing tool present since the early days of Windows, know that we have good news. The application has returned with full force with Paint 3D, bringing not only a new and much more modern face, but also a ton of news that promise to please every type of person.

From the outset, anyone observing the image below will notice that there are many changes in the application. In addition to the modified interface, Paint 3D now offers a series of "tips" that simulate different tools, ranging from pens and pencil brushes and pencils. There is also the possibility of adding images and stickers to give a different finish to your gear.

For the rest, Paint 3D remains the same as ever. Options like rubber, spray and even the classic paint bucket are still here, working the same way as before, and you can still simply use it to draw without much concern.

Why only two dimensions?

The great newness of Paint 3D, however, is not only in its 2D drawing tools. As the name of the program indicates, its main change is the addition of functions that allow you to work with 3D figures, either creating completely three-dimensional shapes or adding depth to two-dimensional arts.

Doing this in the program is an extremely easy task. To create fully three-dimensional objects, simply go to the "3D Objects" tab and use one of the forms offered. You have full control of your size, color and other elements, so feel free to change this as you see fit.

Not limited to this, you can still turn almost everything you create into 2D into a 3D version. In doing so, the figures become like drawings made on sheets of paper, so they can be moved freely to help compose interesting scenes. As with any program of this genre, it is your job to use this creatively to create incredible arts.

Only for Insiders, for now

It is important to warn that Paint 3D is in "Preview" version, that is: it is not available to the public normally. In order to use it, for now, your only option is to be registered in the program Windows Insider.

There is no denying that Paint 3D has undergone extreme changes in this new version. But they are as drastic as they are welcome: in a few minutes, it becomes clear that the program is a vastly superior interaction of the already tired drawing software.

This is very clear, at the outset, by the beautiful interface of the program. With a much more modern look, clean and friendly, with easy to understand icons, navigating the tools of Paint 3D is an extremely uncomplicated task that will take a few minutes to get used to.

No less impressive is the considerably greater number of functions the program has gained - most notably the 3D drawing part. While many specialized software offers a ridiculously wider range of options in this area, Paint 3D still garners praise for being easy to use. You're not going to do anything extremely elaborate, of course, but at least you can create far more creative compositions with it.

With so much praise, it must be obvious. But we will reinforce: Unless you are looking for some robust 3D modeling or drawing program, Paint 3D is a tool that combines both worlds very well with a user-friendly interface. It is definitely an option that you will be grateful to have around.
